Geotextile is a type of geosynthetic material, available in both spun and non-woven textures. Geotextiles are divided into two types,

namely short filament geotextiles and long filament geotextiles. The product quality of geotextiles can be divided into national

standard and non national standard. For maintenance purposes, non national standard geotextiles are generally sufficient.

Geotextile has the functions of filtration, drainage, isolation, reinforcement, anti-seepage, and protection. It has good qualities such

as light weight, high tensile strength, good permeability, high temperature resistance, freezing resistance, aging resistance, and

corrosion resistance. Non woven geotextile (polyester geotextile, non-woven geotextile), also known as geotextile, is a permeable

geosynthetic material made of synthetic fibers through needle punching or weaving. Long filament geotextile is made by laying long

or short fibers into a mesh through different equipment and processes. Through processes such as needle punching, different fibers

are interwoven and fixed together to standardize the fabric, making it soft, full, thick, and stiff to achieve different thicknesses that meet

usage requirements. Warp knitted composite geotextile is a new type of geotextile material made by reinforcing glass fiber (or synthetic

fiber) with short fiber needle punched non-woven fabric.

Waterproof geotextile is a geotextile anti-seepage material composed of plastic film as the anti-seepage substrate and non-woven

fabric composite. Its anti-seepage performance mainly depends on the anti-seepage performance of the plastic film. It is a type of non

-woven and industrial fabric. It is made of polyester curly short fibers with a fiber fineness of 6-12 deniers and a length of 54-64mm as

raw materials. By using non-woven production equipment to loosen, comb, scramble (short fibers interweave with each other), lay mesh

(standardized entanglement and fixation), needle puncture and other production processes, a fabric is made. As long as it is applied to

the reinforcement of railway subgrade, maintenance of highway pavement, sports hall, dam protection, isolation of hydraulic structures,

tunneling, coastal mudflat, reclamation, environmental protection and other projects.
