Composite geomembrane also belongs to the category of geosynthetic materials. As one of the geosynthetic materials, this
product is made from synthetic plastics, synthetic fibers, and synthetic rubber as the basic raw materials, and is mainly used to
enhance and protect the soil structure, surface, and various types of soil. Composite geotextiles have been widely used in various
engineering fields such as highways, roads, dams, railways, water conservancy projects, large buildings, hydropower plant ash
dam construction, non-ferrous metal tailings treatment, and others.

Geomembrane is a geotextile anti-seepage material made by using plastic film as the anti-seepage raw material and then com-
pounding it with non-woven fabric. Its anti-seepage performance is still mainly based on plastic film. It mainly includes polyvinyl
chloride (PVC) and polyethylene (PE), both of which are high molecular weight chemical materials with the characteristics of light
weight, low specific gravity, strong elongation, strong adaptability to deformation, corrosion resistance, low temperature resistance,
and excellent anti freezing performance.

raw materials. The geomembrane is made of plastic film as raw material, which is combined with non-woven fabric to form a geotextile

duce various products.
Construction technology. Geomembranes use thermal welding to heat treat the surface of the PE film connection, causing it to completely
melt, and then fuse into one under pressure; The geomembrane in the composite geomembrane is the intermediate layer, ensuring that
the anti-seepage layer is not penetrated by water. In order to reduce the exposure to ultraviolet rays and shorten the service life, it is
advisable to use the buried method for laying.
The performance is different. Geomembranes have high strength, strong elongation and deformation adaptability, and excellent permeability
and physical and mechanical properties of composite geomembranes.
