Cement blanket, also known as concrete canvas, is a composite material that is a two-dimensional material composed of tradit-

ionalcement mixtures such as cement, sand, and stones, combined with synthetic fibers or natural fibers. Without encountering 

water before use, the cement blanket is as soft as a blanket, can be rolled up for transportation, and can be cut as needed; After

 pouring water, the cement blanket will undergo a curing reaction and become a sturdy concrete blanket.

Construction process of cement blanket

1) Construction preparation. Before construction, determine the project dimensions to ensure the accuracy of the design plan, repair

and level the ground, remove sharp debris such as large bricks and stones, and ensure that the ground is compacted and stable.

(2) Excavation of trenches. According to the engineering situation, excavate trenches at the top of the slope to fix the cement blanket

and prevent it from slipping during laying, ensuring good stability.

(3) Laying of cement blanket. Place the cement blanket correctly on the top of the slope and fix one end of it in the groove position

with a U-shaped nail. After fixing it, let it naturally roll down and spread out from top to bottom. When laying, overlap the cement

blankets by about 10cm and fix them with U-shaped nails (fixed every meter) to ensure the integrity of the cement blankets.

(4) Watering to solidify. After the laying of the cement blanket is completed, watering should be carried out to ensure complete

penetration of the cement blanket (repeated twice) to allow hydration reaction to occur. The cement blanket should be cured within

24-48 hours according to temperature and humidity.

(5) Construction is completed.
